I was once asked, what fuels me to use images to apprehend life’s events, the answer flowed smoothly, “It’s the reaction of all those I capture on film, seeing their reaction gives me both joy and generates a drive within me that makes what I do purposeful.”
In life there are many different methods to catalog its events, capturing all that goes on through the lens of a camera is mine. The bond was completely organic, humble beginnings dating back to my college years with a basic 35mm SLR film camera. I took photography on as hobby, however through ritualistic practice and detailed tuning soon began to feel as though it was intended for me. Since then I have gone on to use my camera to experience tremendous things. People, places and things, whatever the case may be, it never feels like a “photo shoot”, more like a fun filled, adventurous interview between a guest and its host.
I started photographing over decade ago and somehow I feel as though I’ve just begun. Welcome to my world…
